The end of July

Audrey turned 6 on July 25th! Dad was out of town on her birthday, but we had fun anyway!

After a birthday dinner at Arco Iris with grandma Anne we opened a package from grandma Kathie, aunt Jen, aunt Peggy & great grams.


Audrey wanted another water slide birthday this year. And again our friend Eli photo bombed our family picture.


Audrey is so grown up now. She sits at her desk and creates in her down time.


We also try on clothes in the dressing room!



Olivia bought another doll with a gift card from her birthday!


The girls show us their core strength while playing twister.


Audrey was so excited to open up her gift from the Jensen family. She loves Jenga and showed us how to play.


This past week we went to see Dr. Henry for her 6 year well visit. 90% height, 80% weight, Audrey is on target to be 5'8". She was 51 pounds and measures 3'11"


She looked so grown up in a gown waiting for the doctor.

Audrey lost her 2nd front tooth during her party. She wrote a letter to the tooth fairy to explain.






Dear tooth fairy,
I lost my tooth today. It is in the waterside. Please give me money. My sister bonked out my tooth.

Camping!

We went camping last weekend up in the Angeles Crest Mountains.  

3 other families joined us for some outdoor fun.

Hawaii Fun...part 2

7 nights at the Aulani resort in K'olina was the perfect getaway vacation.  It took me 2 days to completely relax, but once I adjusted everything else fell into place.  Disney makes vacationing with young children easy and fun for all ages.  

We spent most days at the pool.  There were several areas to choose from. The girls took to the water slides rather quickly and preferred to stay close to the slide entrance and dip into the spa to warm up afterwards.

The infinity hot tub was one of my favorite spots on the property.  These pictures were taken nearby.

Stitch is now one of Audrey's & Olivia's favorite characters.

Joe buillt a huge sand castle with the girls during one of the scheduled activities.

It was great to see the team work between the girls.

Joe and I have decided that Audrey looks way to grown up in this navy blue bikini.

Audrey & Olivia joined a comedy group session at Aunty's Beach house.  They have a photographer there to take shots of your children enjoying themselves when you are not around.

It looks like our girls had fun telling silly jokes. Audrey continues to tell very long and not so silly jokes.
