Olivia turns 3!!!

Our baby is growing up so fast!!! Olivia now has her own attitude and way of living life!  She loves to dance and swim.  Teacher Ozzie with Star Dreams dance center is one of her favorite teachers.  Olivia is always excited to take her class on Fridays.  Olivia loves to go to bed at night with a rub and a pat on her back.  I think she is spoiled at school.

I took this picture of Olivia during our 4 month well check up with Dr. Henry.  I remember having so much fun playing with the baby in the mirror while waiting for the doctor.
This is one if the first photos that I took with both of my girls.  Olivia is now a year older than Audrey in this photo.  Wow was I tired that year!
This was Olivia's first tamale at El Arco Iris.  This was her favorite meal for her first 2 years.  She now prefers a cheese enchilada with rice and beans.
This is one of the last photos I have of Olivia and the bottle.  We transitioned her to a sip cup after her first birthday.
Olivia was showing off her walking skills!  I loved this outfit:  white onesie jumper with gold lame stripes!
Last year Olivia would let me do her hair.  She now refuses to let me near her hair and screams bloody murder if I get one brush stroke in.
Olivia's 2nd birthday party!!  I thought she looked old then, but now looking back she was still my little baby.  She is so grown up now!

I am the world's worst blogger!

I have no excuses, I have been terrible when it comes to keeping this blog current.  The girls have been having so much fun the past few months.  We have planted a vegetable garden behind the garage and have been busy taking swim lessons twice a week at the YMCA.

Audrey is growing like a weed and is beginning to spell out all of her favorite words.  We are hoping that she gets accepted into Odyssey Charter school for kindergarten.  The school is located in Altadena, the drive will be terrible but I loved the program that they offer.  We are currently #6 on the wait list, please keep your fingers crossed for us!

Olivia is thriving at Celebration Kids. She will turn three this weekend on April 14th when we board the long awaited cruise.  Olivia lives her swim lessons and has been pretending to be Teacher D (Audrey's old teacher) when playing around the house.  She is so petite, I have trouble keeping her panties up around her hips sometimes.  Olivia is so sweet and tries so hard to keep up with her big sister Audrey.

My grumpy little girls!  I love them in their matching pajamas!  Thank you Grams!
 Ready for swim class!!!
Audrey waiting to get her teeth x-rayed.  She was the perfect patient, with no cavities

Audrey had a sleep over with her friend Ashley.  Audrey is so excited about her new bunk beds, she is requesting sleep overs with all of her friends to show them off!

Soccer

Audrey played soccer last fall in the AYSO league.
She had a pink and black uniform and was on the "Pink Berries" team.  Audrey is a very shy girl, it takes time for her to warm up to new surroundings and new people.  She did not know anyone on her team, this was a big challenge for her.

There were 6 girls on her team.  3 girls from each team were on the field at one time.

Audrey was #4, she think it is because she is 4 years old!

Every Saturday we packed up and went to soccer.  Audrey began to excel mid season when Joe began bribing her with M&M's. Each time she kicked the ball she got 1 M&M in return.  Coach Richard was very impressed with Audrey's progress.

Coach Richard had a very busy coaching schedule.  Our trophy ceremony was in the lunch quad at Roosevelt Middle School.  Each girl came home with a trophy, Audrey was so proud!

Audrey received her name from the team banner and a big gold trophy.

After the last game of the season Joe and I treated Audrey to frozen yogurt to celebrate.  She also got the princess slippers that she had been asking for as a gift.  Joe and I were so proud of Audrey for sticking with soccer all season.  She is looking forward to playing again next fall.  I will be coaching her team; I just completed the application.

Family Photos 2011

Is it February already?  So much has happened in the past few months.  I think I am back on track and ready to move forward with 2012.

Back in November of last year we took family photos at the Manhattan Beach Pier with Amanda Burgess.  This was our second shoot with Amanda; she took our photos last year at a park.

Audrey & Olivia had so much fun running in the water.  Audrey pulled up her leggings and fell in love with the wet sand.  It took about an hour for them to warm up to Amanda.
Audrey and I went shopping that morning for jewelry and other accessories for the shoot.  She chose a gold necklace with a bow and a flower for her hair.
This is our "Olivia" shot for 2011.   She is fun and stubborn little girl, we love  her very much.  Last night she insisted on wearing her Hello Kitty back back to bed.
I took this photo this morning.

I absolutely love these pictures.
Thank you Amanda!

I just wish Olivia was in this photo too!
Here is the Ward family photo for 2011.  We had so much fun that Sunday, at the beach on Thanksgiving weekend!

I hope to keep posting on a regular basis and catch up for Valentine's Day.  I lost the super bowl bet and am now in charge of serving dinner next Tuesday.

Picture with Santa

Yesterday Joe and I took the girls to the Americana to visit Santa.  The girls did not cry this year and Joe and I were pleased.  Audrey actually spoke to Santa and asked him for a Minnie Mouse dress.

Dracula is having fun with his girls. Olivia was not in a picture kind of mood last night!
She was more into her candy stash.
It is time to go home!  The dragon is eating her stash to stay awake!
I am letting them sleep in today!
