My starfish

Audrey and Olivia have been taking swim lessons twice a week for the past 4 months. Audrey shows so much focus and concentration while swimming with her instructors. A few weeks ago Audrey noticed a girl dive into the pool and asked me if she could do the same. Audrey "really really super duper" wanted to learn how to dive.

Tuesday night teacher Jen helped Audrey dive into the pool. I had a very proud mama moment and was able to capture a few photos. Audrey is the girl on the right side in the pink floral bikini.

Here is another picture I snapped just before she went into the water. Audrey, teacher jen and I were so excited. After class I was told that Audrey was ready to move up level in swim from ray to starfish.

Olivia is also moving up a level. She has been in the intro pike class for 4 months. We are very proud of her and are excited to join the eel class and improve her swim skills.

Hula Birthday Party

Last month we went to a birthday party for Audrey's friend Luisa. Luisa has a party in the park with a tropical theme for her 5 th birthday.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the party.

Audrey and her best friend Sophia. Audrey and Sophia have been friends at celebration kids since they started school in room 1. They bonded while crying for their parents.

Joe and I are worried about Audrey going to kindergarten in September. Sophia will not be attending the same school as Audrey.

Audrey having fun with Amelie.

Olivia had a blast at the party too!

Yes Olivia has an attitude.

Remembering the sweet Olivia

Olivia has hit her terrible two phase, just a few weeks after her third birthday. Joe and I have always known that she is a strong willed child, but the last few days have been very challenging!

Here is my sweet daughter that I remember.

This is the lady who she is now. Yikes!

She still has some very sweet moments.

But I am missing the girls who used to let me brush and style her hair.

Silly Sundays

Joe and I have been having to much fun with the girls since we re turned from our vacation. Here are a few pictures of the girls hanging out around the house.

Audrey loves to play with my iPhone and has taken hundreds of self portraits. I opened up my photos the other day and found this waiting for me.

Olivia turns 3!!!

Our baby is growing up so fast!!! Olivia now has her own attitude and way of living life!  She loves to dance and swim.  Teacher Ozzie with Star Dreams dance center is one of her favorite teachers.  Olivia is always excited to take her class on Fridays.  Olivia loves to go to bed at night with a rub and a pat on her back.  I think she is spoiled at school.

I took this picture of Olivia during our 4 month well check up with Dr. Henry.  I remember having so much fun playing with the baby in the mirror while waiting for the doctor.
This is one if the first photos that I took with both of my girls.  Olivia is now a year older than Audrey in this photo.  Wow was I tired that year!
This was Olivia's first tamale at El Arco Iris.  This was her favorite meal for her first 2 years.  She now prefers a cheese enchilada with rice and beans.
This is one of the last photos I have of Olivia and the bottle.  We transitioned her to a sip cup after her first birthday.
Olivia was showing off her walking skills!  I loved this outfit:  white onesie jumper with gold lame stripes!
Last year Olivia would let me do her hair.  She now refuses to let me near her hair and screams bloody murder if I get one brush stroke in.
Olivia's 2nd birthday party!!  I thought she looked old then, but now looking back she was still my little baby.  She is so grown up now!

I am the world's worst blogger!

I have no excuses, I have been terrible when it comes to keeping this blog current.  The girls have been having so much fun the past few months.  We have planted a vegetable garden behind the garage and have been busy taking swim lessons twice a week at the YMCA.

Audrey is growing like a weed and is beginning to spell out all of her favorite words.  We are hoping that she gets accepted into Odyssey Charter school for kindergarten.  The school is located in Altadena, the drive will be terrible but I loved the program that they offer.  We are currently #6 on the wait list, please keep your fingers crossed for us!

Olivia is thriving at Celebration Kids. She will turn three this weekend on April 14th when we board the long awaited cruise.  Olivia lives her swim lessons and has been pretending to be Teacher D (Audrey's old teacher) when playing around the house.  She is so petite, I have trouble keeping her panties up around her hips sometimes.  Olivia is so sweet and tries so hard to keep up with her big sister Audrey.

My grumpy little girls!  I love them in their matching pajamas!  Thank you Grams!
 Ready for swim class!!!
Audrey waiting to get her teeth x-rayed.  She was the perfect patient, with no cavities

Audrey had a sleep over with her friend Ashley.  Audrey is so excited about her new bunk beds, she is requesting sleep overs with all of her friends to show them off!
