Halloween Parade at Celebration Kids

Audrey, Sophia, Dahlia, Amelie, Kaia and Sara are excited for the parade.  Audrey was the only girl not dressed up as a princess. I love my little Jessie!

Audrey is such a big girl this Halloween.  I am still trying to get her to say "It's you!  It's you!  It's you!  It's you! It's you!"  If you don't know that I am referring to I suggest watching Toy Story 2.  It is a great movie, and we love it.  I will try to get a shot with Audrey and her Jessie doll tonight.
Olivia loves her dragon costume.  I finished her hood just a few hours before the parade. She was ready and waiting for it when Joe and I showed up at CK. Teacher Chris was very surprised that Olivia did not want to share her costume. This was his first experience with the Olivia that Joe and I see on a  daily basis.
This was the best shot that we got of Olivia.  I hope to get some good ones tonight.

Audrey and Sara are patiently waiting for the "trick or treat-ing" to begin.

After the parade Room 6 had a Spooky Food themed party.  Audrey ate monster toes, frozen eye balls and rotten apple punch.  Teacher Melissa & Teacher Bernie know how to throw a good monster party.
Cheers!  Rotten apple punch is yummy!

2011 School Pictures

I have realized that I no longer have babies.  I am now a seasoned mother of 2 little girls. Olivia is on her way to being 100% potty trained.  Audrey is flourishing in room 6 and is smarter than we give her credit for.
Joe and I are proud parents!
Olivia looks so upset in her picture. But she LOVES her class and her teachers.

Audrey loves room 6!  She is learning all out independence & responsibility!
They also do cool food crafts!

Sunday Fun

I need to catch up a bit on posting pictures. Last Sunday Joe and I took the girls out for some family fun.  Our first stop was the Pony Ride & Train in Griffith Park.  One of the main streets is closed for construction and we has to take the "long way". Audrey & Olivia grew very impatient.

Next April Olivia will be 3 and will be allowed to ride on the "medium" sized ponies.  This means that the girls will be able to ride ponies out side of the chain link ring.
The girls had fun!
I managed to catch a shot in between the links.

After the pony rides we took the girls over to ride the small train.  On our way we passed a snack stand and were sweet talked into purchasing cotton candy.  Audrey & Olivia chose PINK.
They shared their treat very well.

After the snack it was time to wait in line for the train. This can be a bit boring.  Lucky for Olivia she had daddy to entertain her!
Yes she was picking his nose!
Audrey took a self photo once we got a seat on the train.
And here is a picture of Joe & Olivia!

After the train ride we made a quick stop at a local pumpkin patch.  Here we posed with a few scary characters and left with 3 baby pumpkins. I told Audrey that she could have any pumpkin that she could carry.  This saved me from purchading a 14$ pumpkin that I can buy at the grocery store for $5.

Baileys are a Girls Best Friend

Audrey is snuggling in her bed with Bailey. It took me 1/2 hour to get her out after this picture.  Audrey has been giving everyone nick name lately.  She has her Bail, and Liv (or O'liv)
O'liv and Audrey love hanging out in Audrey's big girl bed.  Joe and I are in the process of listing their baby furniture on Craig's list and plan on transforming their room to a "big girl's" room in the next month.  I just wish we knew if we were moving anytime soon, it would really help us make a few decisions.
This is an older pic of Audrey that I found in the past few weeks.  I love this picture, she is having so much fun dancing.  What a great smile.
Last Saturday we went bowling as a family of 4.  Yes I did pay for Olivia to get her own shoes and play.  We has so much fun, after about half hour the lights were turned down low and disco lights were flashing.  I think the girls had more fun chasing the lights at that point.  But overall we had a good first run.
Here is a picture of Audrey bowling with her friend Lily.  Audrey is the little on in blue with rainbow pants.  This was a fun shot!
And...in honor of Halloween here is our family picture from October 2009.  Wow...my girls have grow
Olivia recently pulled out her Pooh costume and managed to put it on last month. Stay tuned for this year's outfits.  I still have a lot of hours to put into them, but I think I will make my deadline!

Dancing in the Sun

Audrey ... not wanting to say still for her picture

Dancing is so much fun when it is time to get into the car!
